Serli Wijaya has been joining the faculty since 1998. Her PhD is achieved fom Victoria University Melbourne as a program of the Directorate of Higher Education, Ministry of education and Culture of Indonesia. Her disertation is focused on culinary experience of international tourists in several tourism spots Besides academic certficates, Serli Wijaya has also possessed a professional certificate issued by American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI): CHE (Certified Hospitality Educator). The most recent non-degree education joined was the Summer Leadership Course which she took part during 3 weeks of July 2018 at harvard University, Cambridge, USA, as a part of United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UBCHEA). Together with the team from Management Program, Tourism Board, Surabaya government, and Cafe and Restaurant Business Asociation, she has also been active in researching he quality of food and beverages business in Surabaya through Surabaya Restaurant Award (SRA) since 2007. Serli Wijaya has also been actively published her researches ad papers in international and local journals. Her current academic career is as a Lector.
