RIDHOTAMA SHANTI D. OTTEMOESOE, S.E.,M.SC.FE.,PH.D.,CFP

Shanti has been with the UK Faculty of Economics in Petra since 2005. She is an alumnus of the Department of Management, Financial Concentration, Christian University of Petra (UK Petra) in 2004. In 2019, Shanti earned a PhD from Bangor University, Wales, UK (or the University of Wales) after receiving a scholarship from the Directorate of Higher Education (DIKTI) of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.

Her doctoral dissertation examines the role of the Regional Development Bank in carrying out its intermediary functions, viewed politically and geographically, and its support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. The topics of banking and finance related to spatial issues became his research interests in addition to finance and micro-banking.

Furthermore, Shanti has obtained the CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification from the FPSB (Financial Planning Standard Board).FPSB Indonesia is a certification agency for the financial planning profession and has administered the global certification of Certified Finance Planners (CFP®) and Registered Financial Planners (RFP ®) since 2007 under a partnership agreement with the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (www.fpsb.org) exclusively in Indonesia.

Shanti is a regular financial speaker at the Pantecosta Bible School, under the umbrella of the Panthecosta Church in Indonesia (GPdI), and also fills the family finance section in several other church communities.

Other academic activities include membership in the Regional Studies Association (RSA) since 2019 and membership in the ISEI (Indonesian University of Economics) branch of East Java since 2019, which deals with the focus group of financial inclusion.

In 2020, Shanti won a grant to join the ASEAN-QA (Quality Assurance) in collaboration with the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) for one year and produce two research projects on quality assurance.

With regard to public service, Shanti has become an online market buyer for the UMKM community of GPdI Elohim, or the "Elohim Market" since the pandemic hit in March 2020. As an initiator of opening up online markets through Instagram and Facebook, helping to design products and publish them. We are currently developing a variety of social media training and development programs to enhance product marketing in the Elohim Market market community.
