Recently, our MM PCU class dove deep into the subject of AI Adoption and Digital Transformation in Strategic Management. We had the absolute pleasure of learning from Mr. Ang Hari Tjahjono @tjahjonoharry , Director of Human Capital and Corporate Affairs at PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines (SPIL) @ptspil .
He shared invaluable lessons from SPIL’s “Beyond Shipping” journey, emphasizing that AI adoption isn’t just about buying new tools; it’s a capability decision that requires sensing opportunities, seizing them, and transforming the organization. From understanding that data replaces instinct in decision-making to realizing that prompting skills are the new differentiator in the field, it was an incredibly eye-opening session!
